How PsyClara collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. Cookie Policy & Consent

Our site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for a limited set of specific purposes, including essential site functionality (such as keeping you securely signed in) and analytics/marketing tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, which help us measure conversions and understand how the site is used.

This is governed by the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). In line with PECR, all non-essential cookies (such as analytics and marketing cookies) are blocked by default until you actively click "Accept All" on our cookie banner. We do not use pre-ticked consent boxes, and simply continuing to browse the site is never treated as consent. You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time via your cookie settings.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Required for core functionality, such as authentication, security, and remembering your consent preferences. These cannot be switched off.

  • Analytics & Marketing cookies: Help us understand site usage and track advertising effectiveness. These are only loaded after you provide explicit consent."

2. Marketplace Terms & Conditions

While this Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, our Terms & Conditions protect both you and PsyClara as a platform. They cover:

  • The Platform's Role: PsyClara acts as an intermediary platform connecting users with independent advisors, rather than providing spiritual advice or readings directly.

  • Limitation of Liability: Protections for the business arising from a user's interactions or dissatisfaction with the insights of an independent advisor.

  • Payments & Refunds: Clear rules on platform fees, payment processing, and how disputes or refund requests are handled.

  • Acceptable Use: Rules on code of conduct, safeguarding, and preventing users or advisors from taking transactions off-platform.

Our full Terms & Conditions are being finalised and will be published on this site in due course.

3. Advanced Measurement & Server-Side Data Security

To protect your privacy and improve data security, we process site interactions using a secure Server-Side Tagging architecture. This means data is routed through our own secure server containers before being securely evaluated.

When you submit a form on our platform (such as joining our waitlist or applying as an advisor), certain identifiers (such as your email address or phone number) may be used for conversion tracking via Google Ads Enhanced Conversions. To protect your data, these identifiers are automatically hashed (pseudonymised using SHA-256 protocol) into a secure, unreadable string before being transmitted. This allows us to measure our advertising performance accurately without exposing your raw personal data to third-party ad networks.

Major technology providers typically include DPA terms within their standard terms of service. We review these agreements to help ensure PsyClara is not left legally exposed in the event of a third-party data incident.

4. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Whenever we use third-party tools that handle personal data — such as secure infrastructure hosting providers, analytics routing systems, or communication platforms — we require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to be in place with that provider.

Major technology providers typically include DPA terms within their standard terms of service. We review these agreements to help ensure PsyClara is not left legally exposed in the event of a third-party data incident.

5. Our Plain Language Commitment

The ICO takes a firm stance against companies that bury their privacy terms in dense legal jargon. In line with this, we commit to writing this Privacy Policy — and any future updates to it — in clear, simple, and transparent language that anyone can easily understand.

If anything here is unclear, please contact us at calling@psyclara.com and we'll be happy to explain further.

How We Use & Retain Your Data

It is used solely to respond to your inquiry, process your marketplace application, or send you the specific platform updates you've asked to receive. We do not sell your personal data, nor do we share it without your consent except where strictly required by law.
